What is a professional organizer?
Professional Organizers help their clients sort out their homes and offices. Essential duties of a Professional Organizer are discussing requirements with clients, eliminating clutter, teaching clients how to be well-organized, recommending management techniques, developing systems, and organizing clients’ spaces. Skills needed to be a professional organizer include: customer service, organization, strong observational abilities, excellent people skills, creativity, and problem-solving.
Goals that I will have with each client include:
- Provide home and office organizational services to clients by creating ways to eliminate clutter.
- Assess and develop a plan of action to meet the client’s overall goal(s) in organizing their space.
- Teach clients practical organizing principles in order to maintain their newly organized space.
- Sessions may include: purging belongings, preparing clients for moves, unpacking clients in their new homes and assisting in creating an overall clarity of living space
- Create organizing goals and help clients to achieve those goals.
- Developed individualized plans based on client’s habits, needs and vision for their space.
- Coach clients on how to reduce clutter through downsizing and prevent clutter from reoccurring by teaching clients that unused clutter can be sold or donated.
- Communicate with clients by providing in-home consultations, scheduling organizing sessions, and follow up emails.
No job is too small! If you are having trouble finding things in your pantry or kitchen cabinets, I can help! If you are having trouble getting to work on time because you can’t find that outfit or shade of lipstick, I can help! If you keep cleaning your house but it still looks messy because of the clutter, I can help!! We can walk through your home during my free consultation to find your areas of concern and make a plan to fix them. I believe function is the most important element in organizing but I can also do the Pinterest Perfect type of organizing too.
